Meditecnia-4 is a complete application ready to be distributed.
It has been designed to be very easy to use and understand. We are very aware that time really matters in doctor's offices.
Patient demographics. Includes patient history, allergies, etc. A list of all patients sessions (visits) allows easy navigation through examinations
The program supports Microsoft's Office Access or MYSQL databases. Other databases engines may be requested. It supports multiple languages.
Visits or sessions. All the clinical data and images accessible in a single screen.
You can edit and annotate the images with text comments, graphics, etc. You can acquire still image and video sequence in a live preview screen, that supports any Windows Directshow compatible devices (WDM drivers), Canon EOS digital photographic cameras, twain or wia scanners, firewire video cameras, standard or high definition video sources, Dicom devices, etc. Almost anything that outputs images can be connected.
There is available an aditional software module (Dicom Storage SCU) to send DICOM 3.0 images and data to a PACS (picture archiving and communication system) or any other modality.
Image comparisons, follow up. Compare two or four images from any patient's examination selecting them with drag & drop mouse action.
Report generator. Generate a report in just seconds dragging & dropping the desired data and images on the flexible and fully featured text editor (MS-Word style). Export reports to PDF format and email them. Users love this revolutionary tool.
